Make mention of package-specific environment variables somewhere

There are many reasons why a job can crash, one being a lack of appropiate environment variables (_e.g._ `$ADFHOME` for adf).
We should probably mention this somewhere as a potential cause for crashes, be it either in the docs themselves are within a pre-existing exception/warning message.
