ncvis with regional MPAS grids?

Paul - good stuff here (as usual).

Have you tried using this tool on a regional MPAS grid? We are starting to run MPAS here at NSSL, and working on a regional (CONUS) nightly run.

Tried using it, but the app seemed confused. BTW, it seems to work fine on an M1 Macbook with homebrew wxWidgets installed.
