Question about ambient noise simulation #1839

Hello ，recently I have been studying cross-correlation simulation theory and looking at the SPECFEM3d examples on this topic. However, I did not fully understand the code implementation for the first step: computing the Green’s functions from the reference station to potential noise-source locations. Could you please explain how to compute the Green’s functions from the reference station to possible noise sources? Do we excite the model with a band-limited pulse function? If so, what form should the band-limited pulse function take?
