To simplify reproducibility, a collection of Docker images are available to build/test/code.
Note
If you don't want to use/have Docker, I recommend using the dockerfiles as a reference to install the dependencies.

Important
The images should be built from the root folder of the repository (meaning not from the docker folder).

Important
This only works if your OS is using X11 (e.g. Ubuntu)
To be able to open GUI from the docker, add
--device /dev/dri:/dev/dri --ipc=host -e DISPLAY=$DISPLAY -e XAUTHORITY=/root/.Xauthority -v /tmp/.X11-unix:/tmp/.X11-unix -v $HOME/.Xauthority:/root/.Xauthority
to the docker run command.
You might also need to do xhost +si:localuser:root on the host machine to allow access to X11 from within docker.
