Describe the bug / error

When I have a list with more than 30,000 items and export it as a CSV file, I only receive the first 30,000 items, not the full list (in my example, 47,500 items).

Steps to reproduce

1.Go to list
2.Click Export
3.Click Export to CSV

Expected behavior

I except all the items from the list, NOT jus tthe first 30.000 items.

Thank you for reporting this. I wanted to clarify that this issue is not related to the SharePoint developer platform or the sp-dev-docs documentation, so it falls outside the scope of this repository.

The behavior you’re experiencing with Export to CSV is a SharePoint Online product/service issue, not a documentation or development issue. To ensure the right team investigates this properly, please submit this through your Microsoft 365 Admin Center → Support → New service request, or alternatively through the Microsoft Feedback Portal.

This will route the case to the SharePoint product engineering team who can verify whether this is a platform limitation or a product bug.

@jeppesc11 I just came across this post and would like to share a link to a Microsoft support article that specifies this limitation. We would also like to see all entries.

I have read the documentation as well – we just have an awful lot of customers who complain about it, especially that they are not warned/informed that it is not the full list.
