Crashing games feedback

I have the 1.8 from laserbear, I've tested about 15 games for far all original carts. Megaman 2 crashes Everytime at the stage select screen. Castlevania crashes after the first level. Both games worked flawless before the slotmaster.

Thank you for the report. I have noted those game titles.
At this point, I think it would be the same issue as why some of the Everdrive N8 Pro's are freezing/crashing.

We are currently working on a solution and I will update this and the other issue threads when we have a replacement.

I just built 5 of the 1.8 slotmaster. I have not had any problems so far with real carts and the clone flashcarts. I have mine on a RGB modded NESessity v1.6.

Thank you for this feedback!! It is very hit and miss with what works and what doesn't work. My original Everdrive N8 Pro worked so I ordered another one hoping to get one that doesn't work and the new one worked too. There are so many variables with this older hardware. Add to that modern hardware and even a difference in MicroSD Cards. We want our Slotmaster solution to work with all Everdrives, no matter the variables so we are still working on final solution. I was having some freezing issues with my Super C cart with the Ampersand. With the way everything is "squished together" it seemed like a connection somewhere was not connecting properly. My fix was to cut a little plastic away on the 3d printed mount by the 8 pin connector. The solder joints were hitting and causing the board to flex a bit when everything was tightened down. Super C has been running in demo mode for a bit now with no issues. I was even able to get through the entire game.
This is on my NESessity v1.6 build.

Thank you for the detailed write up and the photos!!

We have been looking at an option to make more room for those pins. We also had the idea of using a SMD 8 pin connector like this (https://www.ebay.com/itm/183420909073) to make it so no pins are on the backside at that point.

the Ampersand fit is very tight so I will be moving it slightly up on the bottom so that it's not as tight, but the issue of the pins on the back of the 8 pin connector is still something that will be fixed as well.

Easiest solution seems to just make a "Notch" in the STL file for the 8 pin.
