Possible bug with known_detectors_max_days_old?

ODOT production env has set known_detectors_max_days_old = 2, but it looks like after a detector dies it is only getting zero-filled for 24 hours, not 48 hours. I need to confirm if this is a wrong parameter in the ODOT env setup, or if the atspm code itself is not behaving as expected.
