⭐️⭐️⭐️ Add upvote or "star this app" system (discussion needed)

Description:
We’re exploring ways to let users express which apps they like or use the most. This could be a lightweight “⭐ Star this app” or “⬆️ Upvote” feature. We don’t currently have a backend, so the implementation would need to be creative (or just visual for now).

What to do:

• Propose how this feature could work:
  • Is it a real upvote stored somewhere?
  • Or just a front-end-only interaction?
• If visual-only for now, implement a button (e.g., star icon) inside the modal
  • When clicked, it can animate or change state
  • Optionally save to localStorage so the user’s stars persist locally
• If proposing a backend or API-based version, write a short design plan

Helpful tips:

• This issue is open-ended, you can suggest interaction patterns, UI ideas, or technical strategies
• Consider accessibility: the star should be keyboard-friendly and screen-reader labeled
• Join the conversation in our Hackathon's Discord channel
