Kick off meeting to plan how to break this project down to bring real value as a side project.
Introduction
Greg and I met with big bits of paper and some wine.
We stopped Trackshift development in Autumn 2020, right as we were onboarding alpha users. There was too much going on in my life and the world and I wasn't making good decisions or doing good work.
Since then, there has not been a day where I haven't thought about Trackshift. Greg and I have been waiting for our worlds, calendars and brains to align again. That time seems to be now!
We started with Domain Driven Design questions:
What is the value?
Answer 1: Simple, easy to use + understand, aggregation of music royalties data for Artists.
This extends to Record Labels (a user who will have data for more than one Artist) - making the distribution of royalties to Artists easier and more transparent.
