Settings management / mod loading is needlessly complex #42
Description
Not an urgent problem, but should be considered for future updates.
As of now, save settings are stored in a JSON config, and many features such as setting dependencies and mod selection (which relies on this setting system) as a whole are pretty much unmanageable.
I left this one fairly vague because I don't even know what it's doing at this point.
