Any and all ideas are welcome! All members have the ability to add their own repos to this group, either by forking an existing repo here or creating a new one directly. You can also create a team to help you work on your project! Don't be shy and ask for help!

Jay is working on our home gh-pages site. He may require assistance with it and should have a mockup for us to see soon. I currently have a Slack set up for us but how cool would it be to make our own chat apps? I was thinking cross-platform using PWA for the web (which now installs on Windows!), a native Android and iOS app, and perhaps desktop electron app?

Anyway, this is just the beginning and the sky is the limit. Let's see what we can do!

Hi,

I was in a cafe and was asked to play my playlist. I didn't have a playlist, expect for a youtube suggestion. I connect my device to bluetooth. I am ready to play songs, but youtube ads are party breakers. I was embarrassed.

Can I build app(box, no idea what this interface will be an extension or app ?). This box when connected to external device (say bluetooth) mute ads and just sounds up music when it starts. This will be a charmer :P.

I'm attending my first Hacktoberfest. Feels good!

Without reinventing the wheel, several times I've seen what look to be repurposed restaurant review apps featured on linked in profiles. From finding local recycling centers to breweries etc. I think this could be a no-brainer to get a few proof of concept projects up and running and learning how to work with other API sources than the test server. We could even develop a blank shell that could be used to create such apps complete with the map functionality, review function, etc. I mean, yeah it's similar to a yelp clone but it could be fleshed out with some other features down the road once we had a couple of examples.

I recently started to think about future apps to do, one that I was seriously considering was an app for animal rescuers to get reports of nearby animals in need of help (using the Google Maps API probably).
People would be able to report missing animals, found animals, injured animals, and such. Of course there's a lot of backend to do too

I was looking for something earlier today, and realized that most of the types of apps I'm looking for as a marketing consultant are behind subscription fees and paywalls. I'd like to explore the possibility of creating some form of aggregator app to pull trending hashtags from social media platforms in order to get in early on trends. It doesn't have to be pretty. But it does need to be timely and easy to parse trending topics. Maybe be able to set hashtags to track - not so much to access the articles but rather sources (social media channels) generating the traffic.

We, humans, are very busy in our day to day life. so let us create an application through which will help the animal. If we come across any trapped or injured animal then we just have to mark the location of the animal and write the description about the injury along with a photo of the animal so that vet/animal control can send required medical treatment to treat the animal
