Fatal Error when using bot

i want to import old chat logs with a friend of mine but keep them separated from our usual telegram chat, i tried to use a group with both of us but it didn't work so i tried to use a bot simulating my friend and import the chat logs there (i want my friend's messages to be seen as if the bot sent them) but every time i enter the bot's token i get a fatal error message, any help on how to fix this will be greatly appreciated! thank you!
