Works but audio lags

Hi, not an expert on audio streaming, could you explain how you set up shoutcast to work properly? Tried streaming but the resulting audio stream lags a lot for my players (and I do have a good connection, 90Mbps, should be more than enough for the listed bitrate in kbps)

If you're talking about a delay such that the audio takes a while to reach the players, that's a buffering issue.

Shoutcast and other media streaming solutions will buffer the media for quality and stability concerns. You can reduce the buffer size, which will make the media get transferred much quicker, but as a trade-off you may have a less stable stream.

You'll want to look into documentation surrounding the buffer size.

I meant more stuttering, the audio skipping a lot when more than like one person listens. Also thanks for the answer, I know this isn't the correct place but I really do not know a place to ask about this kind of problem

Unfortunately a stuttering issue is harder to diagnose. It's very much a stream settings issue. I've seen it happen if the buffer size is too low, or if the codec is weird.

The best thing I can suggest is to just go deep diving on Google and see if you can find instances of other people having the same issue.
