Phone Field Does Not Validate Input

Describe the bug
The Phone Field should validate input like every other input field. It should have default validation regex and should allow the use of custom validation rules. It should validate input for "STANDARD" phone numbers and "INTERNATIONAL" numbers.

Expected behavior
It is expected that the Phone Field should validate input.
