My name is Jason Crist. I go by pbking (I'm the Peanut Butter King :P ). I used to work at Automattic before it became a flaming ship and the thing I enjoyed working on most was Create Block Theme (which I still tinker on now and then). I've been a "tool builder" for most of my professional life and managing Patterns in WordPress was the biggest gap that I was able to close.

We've done a lot of client work at Twenty Bellows that needed tooling and so I started refining some tools that I had built for myself and what was distilled from that is this early look at Pattern Builder.

I love WordPress and am in love with block themes (despite the hate Gutenberg gets). I don't remember how I came to find your tool but I am now going to start using it as it is the one thing I hoped would exist.
