Sharing ucplist.ai — an open-source UCP ecosystem directory (feedback welcome)

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share something we've been quietly building and get your thoughts: ucplist.ai — a community directory for the UCP ecosystem.

The goal is simple: make it easier to find what's out there. Right now the UCP space is growing, but discovery is scattered. ucplist.ai tries to be a single, organized place to explore the ecosystem — not just merchants, but platforms, payment handlers, developer tools, SDKs, agent integrations, and guides.

A few things worth knowing:

• Open source data — everything is stored at github.com/Full-Vibe/ucp-ecosystem, so the community owns it
• Community-driven — listings are contributed and maintained by the people building in this space
• No gatekeeping — if you've built something UCP-compatible, it belongs there

This is early and definitely not complete. That's kind of the point of sharing it here — the people in this repo are the ones who actually know what's missing.

If you're building on UCP and want your project listed, or if you see something wrong or missing, PRs are welcome on the data repo. And if you have thoughts on how it should be structured or what would make it actually useful, I'd love to hear it in this thread.

Nice initiative, Jake — a curated ecosystem directory is genuinely needed. Discovery is scattered right now across the main repo, npm, blog posts, and X threads.

Took a look at the site and the data repo. The schema design is solid — the capabilities, ucpStatus, and ucpEndpoint fields in schema.json are exactly the kind of metadata that would make this more useful than a simple link list. A couple of pieces of feedback that might help:

Broken developer tool links: The 6 developer tools listed (UCP SDK, Conformance Tests, Samples, Schema Validator, Checkout.js, CLI Tools) all link to repos under github.com/AminTheDev/ that return 404. The actual official repos are under the Universal-Commerce-Protocol org:

• SDK: Universal-Commerce-Protocol/js-sdk (TypeScript) and Universal-Commerce-Protocol/python-sdk (Python)
• Conformance Tests: Universal-Commerce-Protocol/conformance
• Samples: Universal-Commerce-Protocol/samples

Happy to submit a PR fixing those links.

Verification layer: Your schema already has status (verified / unverified / community-submitted) and ucpEndpoint fields, but they're not populated in the current data. Filling these in would really differentiate the directory — there's a big difference between "this merchant has announced UCP support" and "this merchant has a live, verified /.well-known/ucp endpoint." The merchants currently listed (Nike, Allbirds, Warby Parker, etc.) don't appear to have live UCP profiles yet, so tagging them as unverified or planned vs. verified would set accurate expectations.

Missing community tools: We've been building UCPtools — a UCP profile validator, generator, and merchant directory. Would be glad to contribute a listing to the Developer Tools category. There are also a few other community projects worth including:

• agentic-commerce-lab/SwagUcp (Shopware 6 UCP plugin)
• MehmetHilmiEmel/fastucp (FastAPI UCP server)
• Redemptive-Software/woocommerce-ucp (WooCommerce bridge)
• checkout.directory by nekuda-ai (already listed on the site — they track both UCP and ACP merchants)

We also maintain a merchant directory that tracks validated UCP profiles with compliance scores. Happy to cross-link and share data if useful.

Fixed the broken links, good catch! Corrected the dev tool URLs in the data repo and added the community tools you mentioned (UCPtools, SwagUcp, FastUCP, WooCommerce bridge).

Great call on the verification layer too. Going to start populating those fields so there's a clear distinction between planned and actually-live UCP endpoints.
