Write error: permission error (read only filesystem?)

I have this problem when reaching a certain amount of gigabytes on my HDD, I use a y cable and another SD card but nothing has changed. The SD card isn't write protected, as the installation of a game had already begun.

The error appears as a small window in the center of the screen

I will appreciate any help

are there multiple partitions on your hdd/ssd, that is known to cause problems.
