Floating command box

Hi team,
Could we somehow implement a floating box to show the current command such as search or replace in a more native to user's eyes. The current position to view such active command is actually on the bottom bar and I think it's more favorable to show it in the middle of the screen instead (if possible).

The Neovim extension puts it at the top of the editing window. I would like to see that in this extension. Having the command showing only in the workspace window and not in a separate window where I am editing is really annoying.
