Copy progress window

I just installed WinMerge on my new laptop.
On my old laptop, when copying (especially large or many files) I received a pop up window to show me the progress, copying speed and the estimated duration.
On the new laptop, this doesn't appear. So I have to guess what happens, even thinking that the tool stopped copying.
I cannot find the option to activate this pop-up window again.
Can you help me?

In my case, the copy progress window appears the first time after launching WinMerge, but not on subsequent copy operations. If I restart WinMerge, the window appears again on the first copy.
The cause is currently unknown. We're investigating it.

Same here, it's missing in WinMerge 2.16.48.2 with Windows 11 (24H2) on subsequent copy operations.

This issue no longer reproduces on the current Windows 11 version.
It appears to have been resolved by the OS.
