App almost works, not pulling selected item back into root table screen

incorrect use of singleton, initializing a new one every time
self.categories = [[CQCategoryModel alloc] init];
should be calling class model
this is probably way the app isn't fully functional

in CQCategoryModel.m, can instantiate and put data into singleton in one method
