Not reading most events

I am using an .ics feed from Google Calendar. The skill is generally working, except it won't always return events even though they are on the calendar. I can't figure out why - if there is a setting in the event itself or a bug in the skill.

So, there might be 8 events on a given day, but the skill will say nothing is scheduled.

I found that the skill won't see repeating events on a Googke calendar. If there is an event that's entered as repeating weekly for 10 weeks, it only sees the first one. So I had to enter each event manually by copying the event and changing the date. Not an ideal solution.

I am trying to fix an issue with ical.fromURL(URL, {}, function (error, data) . My problem is it is not taking the function. When I tried returning a value from the function it returns "Undefined". Did you encounter this problem? If so how did you fix it?

Hi all and @akersh-s - this is a major bug in the ical library in that it does not support recurring events.
Sadly, ical is no longer developed nor supported by the developer. I have been on a long mission to try and find an alternative library for this. Here are some of the places I have posted to try and find a workaround, but nothing yet. If anyone knows how to implement rrule, it would be gratefully received!
