yank (ctrl-y) does not work

Description

When I kill text (ctrl-u, ctrl-w), I cannot yank it back (ctrl-y). I.e., I can cut text in the prompt textbox, but trying to paste it back doesn't do anything.

Nope, it's a bug report: the keybindings docs document a shortcut that doesn't work.

Hmmm now I'm a bit confused: that section heading is "desktop prompt shortcuts", but none of those work in the desktop app, but most of them work in the TUI (except ctrl-y). Is that section heading wrong?
