Hi @ruanwenjun, I’m trying to understand this issue. As it says ‘prevent workers from joining non-existent worker groups’ does that mean the API currently allows any group name without verifying if the group exists or not?

Thanks for the clarification @ruanwenjun. I’m still in my learning phase, so I tried going through the code and looking into the worker group validation logic to understand how this could be handled. I will be happy to help with smaller or non-core tasks, so please let me know if there are any suitable issues or areas I can work on.
