Description
The Base Brand Kit provides official logo assets, but it does not clearly document which types of logo modifications are allowed or explicitly prohibited. This can lead to inconsistent or incorrect brand usage across products and marketing materials.
Problem Description
Designers and developers may be unsure whether they are allowed to resize, recolor, crop, animate, or combine Base logos with other elements. Without explicit rules, teams may unintentionally violate brand guidelines or apply inconsistent treatments.
Proposed Solution
Add a documentation section titled “Logo Modifications & Restrictions” that clearly explains which changes are permitted (such as scaling while preserving aspect ratio) and which modifications are not allowed (such as recoloring, distortion, or adding effects). Include a few simple visual or textual examples to illustrate correct and incorrect usage.
Acceptance Criteria
The documentation clearly lists allowed and disallowed logo modifications in a single, easy-to-find section. Teams can confidently apply Base logos without guesswork. No changes are made to existing logo assets, and the guidance remains concise and easy to maintain.
