Can it run on the Windows?

Hi,from the readme.file,I find that shapesmith can run on the MAC and on the Linux operating system. I wonder whether it can work on the Windows7? Now I want to make it work well on the windows ,how can I deal with it ?

Hi, sorry I don't know what it would take as I don't work on Windows. The project is pretty much dead, I haven't worked on it in years...

got it ,thanks for your answer. I am just very interesting in it. Therefore I wanna to study it. However, most of my working time in VS development environment on Windows. Less time working on Linux, thanks ! Happy new year!
