I don't use Lutris to try it out, but I've added a link to your custom module in the documentation page. |

Hi everyone! 👋
I’ve always had a bit of a bad habit: installing games via Lutris and then forgetting to add them to Steam. The result? Whenever I try to launch a game from Home Assistant via LnxLink, it’s missing from my Steam library.
To solve this, I’ve created a Lutris module for LnxLink, with a lot of help and guidance from ChatGPT.
The module:
Reads your Lutris game-paths.json and .yml files to detect installed games.
Creates a dropdown in Home Assistant listing all your Lutris games.
Lets you start/stop games directly from Home Assistant, no need to add them to Steam.
Works seamlessly on Manjaro Linux (KDE), but should work on any Linux distro where Lutris is installed.
Usage
Place lutris.py in your lnxlink/modules/ folder or your custom module folder and add to the config.
Restart LnxLink.
You’ll now see a dropdown for Lutris Game Select in Home Assistant.
Note: Due to how Lutris is designed, it needs the proper GUI environment to launch games. Make sure you are not running LnxLink in a Conda environment or any environment that overrides system Python.
