Add a metric to INSPECT that tracks the rate at which spans are processed. This will help measure INSPECT throughput and allow us to track performance trends over time.

Details

  • Model the metric on the existing “rows deleted per second” metric used by TTL.
  • Expose it through managed-service and DRT cluster. There are mappings that need to be updated for this.
