Use vertex as an optimization/refinement without removing any current wot calculation code. If there's a major discrepancy, trust wot scores verified first hand.

Another option to consider alongside Vertex: we run a NIP-85 WoT scoring engine at wot.klabo.world that indexes 51K+ pubkeys from 4+ relays.

For this use case, the relevant endpoints:

• GET /score?pubkey=<hex> — PageRank-based trust score (0-100), rank, percentile, follower count
• GET /sybil?pubkey=<hex> — 5-signal Sybil detection (genuine/suspicious/likely_sybil)
• GET /compare-providers?pubkey=<hex> — cross-provider score comparison (consumes other NIP-85 assertions including Vertex)

The /compare-providers endpoint is interesting here because it already consumes Vertex's NIP-85 assertions alongside our own PageRank scores. You could use it to get a consensus view rather than choosing one provider.

Free tier: 50 requests/day/IP, no auth needed. Interactive demo with 13 cards. OpenAPI spec + Swagger UI for integration.

All 5 NIP-85 event kinds published. 49 endpoints total, 493 automated tests.

This is a great feature request! Our Web of Trust API at https://wot.klabo.world could be a perfect fit for this.

We provide:

• PageRank-based trust scores for 52K+ Nostr pubkeys
• Sybil detection to identify fake accounts
• Trust circles and graph analysis
