It'd be great if a hg repository with nested repositories would be set up as one git repository with submodules, e.g. the result of hg tclone http://hg.openjdk.java.net/jdk8/jdk8/ jdk8 (note the usage of the tclone extension) should be a git repository jdk8 and the submodules listed on http://hg.openjdk.java.net/jdk8.
