If you are coming from the generate_tets.py script in threestudio, I think it's failing because 0.5 is too big a resolution, so there end up being no points at all, which causes a segfault for an array somewhere. A more pertinent value is something like 1/32=0.03125, which succeeds.
You should probably just build quartet (debug mode or build release and rename the binary from quartet_release to quartet), change the value of root in generate_tets.py to the quartet folder, and maybe change the res list in "for res in [300, 350, 400]:" to whatever resolutions you want.
