Use windable with latest Leaflet version

Is it possible to use [`windable leaflet`](https://github.com/dannycochran/windable/blob/master/examples/leaflet/basic.html) with Leaflet >= v1.0.0 ?
I tried to use with latest Leaflet 1.7.1, but wind visualization wasn't working.

PS Currently windable uses [`Leaflet 0.7.7`](https://github.com/dannycochran/windable/blob/master/examples/leaflet/basic.html#L11)
