Infinite loop opening image

Describe the bug

Latest build from master seems to have an infinite loop when opening an image.

1. Open an already edited image, which was working previously
2. Loop is triggered

If I click on an early element in the history, like the 5th, and then in the most recent one, it exits the "img changed" loop.
