Do we need an `objection-evangelische-kirche` template?

• § 25(2) DSG-EKD now gives people to right to object to direct marketing.

  • -> We didn't have an objection-evangelische-kirche.txt template yet, and can create one now.

  • Caveat: This only applies to direct marketing by companies. According to § 4(19) DSG-EKD:

    „Unternehmen“ [bezeichnet] eine natürliche oder juristische Person, die eine wirtschaftliche Tätigkeit ausübt, unabhängig von ihrer Rechtsform, einschließlich Personen-, Kapitalgesellschaften oder Vereinigungen, die regelmäßig einer wirtschaftlichen Tätigkeit nachgehen

    I would assume that this will usually not apply to churches? Not sure, though, we'll have to check the legal literature.

  • To consider: How does that interact with the new § 50b DSG-EKD?

As far as I'm aware the one commentary that exists for the DSG-EKD hasn't been updated for the new version yet. I'm not sure whether I can understand the legal peculiarities here without referring to legal literature. As such, I'd say we'll leave this open until we can be sure.
