Hello!
I am trying to implement the Location tracking module of ezTrack to detect one focal fish and analyse how much time an individual spends in different regions of interest.
I have some problems with fish detection on quite a lot of frames where a fish is not detected at the right place, in the sense that the Centre of Mass is sometimes quite far from the fish. I should add that the image difference still represents well the fish. The results I obtain are different enough from manually coding the video and are thus not satisfying.
Since our fish are smaller than rodents (they're about the same size as zebrafish), I was wondering what parameters I should preferentially play with to improve this (varying the threshold doesn't help)? I also went through the literature and people usually used ezTrack for rodents only, so I am wondering whether ezTrack is a good option for small fish as well?
Thanks for any input you might have!
