Does this extension modify URL?

Not sure if I'm doing this wrong, or if I have the wrong extension for what I want to do.
Using Firefox 133.0.3, Linux Mint 22.

I would like to modify the URL Request when I search to always include a date range of the past year.
With DuckDuckGo this is indicated when the request contains "&df=y"

Example
Date: Any
https://duckduckgo.com/?t=lm&q=hello+world&atb=v460-4&ia=web
Date: Past year
https://duckduckgo.com/?q=hello+world&t=lm&atb=v460-4&df=y&ia=web

I have configured the following

Pattern: https://duckduckgo.com/*q=* also tried "https://duckduckgo.com/*"
Action: tried both Add and Modify
Header Field Name: df
Header Field Value: y
Apply on: request

Looking for guidance on what I'm doing wrong, or suggestion for another extension to accomplish this if I SMH does not do this.

Never mind... found a different extension that was more suited for this kind of task.
Posting here in case the search engines ever start feeding this back to people.
