It seems Paualana may need some help from Jon to set up workflow, eg "when to use IMs, issues, PRs, and more".
Eg. comments/responses on issues don't show up in the Git-Slack integration set up by Paulana.
Paulana front-facing, busy
Given that Paulana is front-facing, legally responsible to holding multiple jobs (Fiverr et al), Paulana is bound to be too busy:
- Studying clients
- Studying salesmanship
- Crafting public profiles
, Jon should take on workflow duties. These duties include architecting workflow infrastructures.
Fiverr quoting process provided by Jon initially
At least for first $4000 in Fiverr revenue, as mentioned at here.
All other workflow paid for by Paulana
Jon reckons at most 5% of his time is spent on either:
- Instructing Paulana on the correct workflows, OR
- Writing out said workflows, if the above fails.
Hence, a monthly fee of $200 for 8 man-hours will suffice.
NB: Anything more than 5% of Jon's time spent on workflow duties will mean there's something wrong with Jon's workflow designs to begin with.
Workflows include software engineering workflow
Eg. npm, gulp, grunt, webpack, docker, etc.
The above-mentioned $200 per month will include even software engineering workflows.
In fact, even the current abstinence from readily using issues for any discussion is also in violation of a form of collaborative engineering workflow/technique.
Until full-time engagement
When Jon is engaged full-time at $4000 per month, the above-mentioned $200 fee will be absorbed into that $4000 monthly, and that $200 fee will no longer be applicable nor payable.
