Meeting minutes:

Still awaiting an update on the committer election.
Contribution to SDV (Gunnar), possibly through S-Core:

• S-Core has its own application framework initiatives (e.g., proposals from MBTech Innovation and BMW).

1. Feedback from Frank: Abstraction is not meant for the whole project.
2. One aspect of the plan: a SOME/IP gateway will likely be included as part of this framework.
3. The scope is not limited to AUTOSAR connections but is planned to expand to other connections in the future.
4. Constantin: Would be nice to have an overview of the project.

• Manuel: Synergy to bring the concepts together in S-Core was discussed with Mbition colleagues; feasibility aspects should be checked in the next steps.
• In automotive API framework we support different input formats and can transition from ARXML to IFEX if that format is of interest.
• Constantin: The application framework can be in S-Core; we should look for ways to make it work. Proposal to Mbition to investigate further.
• Gunnar: S-Core should start working with this code base to better adapt to the open-source mindset.

1. Possibly through a hackathon or blueprint project?
2. Frank: CARIAD will likely have a VSS stub generator that can also be reviewed when available.
3. Frank will have updates from CARIAD next week.

• An update on the syngergy with S-Core could also be a valuable input for TTTech (as discussed earlier with Bernhard)
• Suggestion to start a POC (maybe as a blueprint) to explore collaboration between the two projects and assess outreach potential.

1. Manuel and Constantin will prepare an initial proposal and share it with the S-Core mailing list.

• Manuel: Will begin with comstack or bridging ara::com services as a starting point.

• Question(Gunnar): Is the namespace hierarchy from VSS retained, or is there a linkage between two different entities?

• ZF–Vector collaboration through a demo blueprint will be featured in the Shifting Gears webinar on Oct-10-2025.
