Meeting minutes:

IFEX support:

• Gunnar Andersson could not join the meeting but mailed up front that he is waiting for the IFEX integration code.
• Plan is to figure out how it may be integrated with ongoing IFEX development.

Contribution to Eclipse Community Days end of February:

• Proposal on blueprint around Eclipse Automotive API Framework project as submitted by Vector got accepted.
• Manuel will travel to Bonn (2026-02-24) and present the integration of VAF with IFEX and S-CORE LoLa.

Presentation of Saran about the ZF plans with and around the autoapiframework:

• In general, the plans still match to the scope of the project.
• New is that ZF plans to bring in the platform support (an implementation for a middleware abstraction module) for the Open Vehicle API.
• Main motivation here is the HAL4SDV project, which ends next year. There is a deadline for development in autumn 2026.
• Integration of both projects (autoapiframework and openvehicle-api) is part of the plans.

Modularization and general structure of the project:

• Manuel explained the current plans and work-in-progress at Vector side to modularize the Application Framework.
• He offered to bring slides for an introduction to the next bi-weekly on 2026-02-18.

Discussion about safety qualification and "suitability" of the project for such plans:

• Vector provides a product version of the Application Framework to cover this part.
• No plans (at Vector and ZF side) to upload Safety-related process documents etc. to the open source content of this project.
• Still the project shall be ready for qualification.
