Biospecimen Metrics- New figure request

We would like to add a new figure to the Weekly Biospecimen Metrics Report to monitor biospecimen survey completion within 3 hours of visit check in at BSWH.

Please add the following:

Figure 3.4: Baseline- Weekly Percent of Biospecimen Surveys Submitted within 3 Hours of Research Collection Visit Check In, BSWH

This figure will mimic Figures 3.1-3.3, which are for HFH, UChic and Sanford, with a start date of 06/24/2024

Please see the new figure below. I'd like to change the x axis to 4 week tick marks or even six week tick marks as opposed to biweekly ticks so it's more visible if that's ok with you

Would there be a plot mark (dot) for each week though? Or would there only be a plot mark to correspond with each tick?

Yes! Same idea as currently. We have a tick mark for every 2 weeks but a dot for every week. So I can actually change the tick marks to be every 4 weeks instead of 6 weeks

For example the dot on 10/21/2024 above is right in between the '24-10-14' and '24-10-28' tick marks

In the figure above, the number of dots do not equal the number of weeks, which we would expect. Can you explain this?

As discussed, weeks where there were no collections should dip to 0, please make the manual update you mentioned. Also, update the X axis to J-24, J-24, A-24, etc instead of using the exact date. Tic marks will be monthly but every week's data point will be represented

This has been updated for Section 3 figures.

The entire report (for now) has been updated with the M-YY style x axis tics with one month separation lines. Please note that because we set weeks to Monday-Sunday, it would be misrepresenting the data if we use 1 month tic marks starting at the first of the month.

Right now our tik marks use the weeks the report was ran, represented by the respectful Monday. For example, March 1st was on a Sunday this month not a Monday. Months that have more than 4 Mondays may be reflected twice on the graphs; again, this month has 5 Mondays, so depending on the graph start date, we may have more than one M-26 marks. I see it on Figure 6.11 for January 2024.

Once I have more time, we can discuss the start dates we want for each plot so only the quarters are represented on the x axis.
