[Node Operator Question] Failed to share forkchoice-updated signal

Issue Description

I'm forwarding problem reported on smartcontracts/simple-optimism-node#103 to here

I am running simple-optimism-node on Goerli and have updated to op-node:v1.3.0, but the op-node can't sync due to the error "Failed to share forkchoice-updated signal".

The op-node logs show:

We using

It's still not syncing, should we re init data and sync from 0?

I am experiencing this as well. Node is stuck and not syncing.

This issue looks like the op-node has canyon configured but op-geth does not. The simple-optimism-node repository needs to have the network flags specified. See the following announcement for more details on configuration: #42
