project needs new owner

I published this two years ago, and lost interest in the project.  Since then a few people have sent patches, but I don't know which patch to merge.  If someone else took over the project we could just make their pull request branch the canonical source.

@taliesinb, @davecheney, @ssobczak, you've written pull requests; any thoughts?
