I have to convert xlsx to xls, so choose your library.

After execute cli "go mod tidy", it is different col.go between "github" and "pkg.go.dev".

Could you update source on "pkg.go.dev"?

Big Problem is different code compare to github when execute "go mod tidy".

Function is "func (xf *XfRk) String(wb *WorkBook) string", because of converting date format.

"pkg.go.dev" is just a place to show the doc. Your dependencies are stored at git repos, like GitHub. So you don't need to "update source". You just need specify the branch/tag that you want to use. Here is an example:

1. Create a go project from stretch.

mkdir aaa
cd aaa
go mod init github.com

2. Init your project.

// main.go
package main

import "github.com/extrame/xls"

var _ xls.WorkBook

3. Run go mod tidy. You'll get xls@v0.0.1.

module aaa

go 1.25.3

require github.com/extrame/xls v0.0.1

require github.com/extrame/ole2 v0.0.0-20160812065207-d69429661ad7 // indirect

4. Edit go.mod by hand. Change "v0.0.1" to "master".

5. Run go mod tidy again. Then you will get the latest code store in GitHub. And you go.mod will look like this:
