I am a beginner who is learning how to contribute to open-source projects. I’m really interested in contributing to your project.

I want to start with small tasks, such as fixing documentation errors, typo fixes, or beginner-friendly issues.

Hi , I hope you are doing well. I am currently exploring open-source contributions and also preparing for Google Summer of Code (GSoC). Since I am a beginner, I wanted to ask your guidance. Is GSoC a better option to start with, or should I first contribute to open-source projects independently to gain experience? Any suggestions from your experience would be really helpful. Thank you!
