Is this the Phatch program and is it an official mirror or fork?

Phatch is a well-known name that stands for photo and batching
It has a wikipedia page here, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phatch
and homepage here http://photobatch.wikidot.com/install#toc1

The homepage doesn't reference Github at all, and it has a Windows version. I used that many years ago, and this has a setup.py that spits out a message if $NO_WINDOWS is true, saying it doesn't work on Windows. But I had it working there, years ago. This is busted on Linux Mint so it looks like a dead project if I've ever seen one, especially since Wikipedia says:
"Currently the website is down and Phatch is no longer downloadable along with python dependencies for Phatch."

The homepage boasts support for other OSes in much more detail than this project that has only 13 stars. Not begetting of the fame of Phatch. If you're not associated with the original development of Phatch, please say so.

Otherwise, could you describe what's going on with the development of Phatch? And in general, this github listing?

So this was an unofficial mirror from many years ago recently updated and working. I think the original maintainers and website have moved on to other things. The original looks abandoned, so hence this updated version for python 3.x. If the current version from this repo isn't working share a fix or submit more info on the issue. I have not tried to get the latest version working on Windows, happy to take a fix for that. Phatch was and is open source.

I would if I could, but fixing the build pipeline on a program I don't yet know internally would be a daunting task. Thanks for preserving phatch, in any case. Would you be able to fix the install for Linux Mint? It gives an error similar to the phrase "broken build wheel" on Linux Mint 22.2 Cinnamon when I try to pip wxPython. If that error is new, I can give more info, or if it's unsupported then it's the same report as an older open issue here.
