::add_option(...) without callback function

Is there a way how I can just add an otion, so I can test for it later on? I want to use this for a scripting engine, that just needs to see if an option exists.

At the moment adding an option without a callback is not possible. I had an idea of options that would only update the value of a variable, but I'm not sure if this is what you're after.

Could you tell more about how you'd like to see if the option exists? by calling a program from an external script, or internally in the program? If the later, you can still use check_if_option_specified() or all_specified_option_names() with the combination of return value from 'run(..)') (I have just pushed a commit that uses it in an example (example3.cpp)). Unfortunately to define an option you still need to use a function.

Please help me understand better how exactly you'd like to use it - and I'm sure we could make an update to make it work.
