running tests in chrome

I have changed the galen.config
galen.default.browser=chrome

but it still seem to run firefox

where else would i set default to Chrome? Hoping you can help, thanks

That is weird. It should work. Could it be that in your test suite you initialize browser with a specific browser type? Because that config setting is only used when the browser type is not defined.

Seems the repo doesn't have such a file. Shouldn't it have one? (I know you can have global config, I mean in terms of "best practice")

@amitaibu As far as I remember galen loads from both from global and from projects local galen.config file. Normally I would put the settings specific to a project in its own config. While on your laptop you might want to change the default browser globally.

I have exactly the same issue; any way to workaround it? I have specified both browser and driver path in my project config, but firefox is still used as the default browser. Using galen v2.4.4 on mac OS 10.14.6.
