I was hoping that utilizing libraries like https://github.com/miekg/gitopper or https://github.com/gianarb/planner or https://github.com/jolheiser/tailscale-gitops-pusher/ there would be more specific examples or at least references to open-source GitOps outside of Kubernetes.
The article https://www.innoq.com/en/articles/2025/01/gitops-kubernetes/ felt like a teaser to a next chapter walkthrough for how to build one, or a walkthrough of how an existing open-source one worked.
