re-work testing suite #365
Description
Since lots of work was done in the last PRs regarding the internal cdm_reader_mapper structure, we can re-work and update the testing suite for more readability, clearness and traceability.
- add unit test for each unit
- remove old unit tests
- test all raise issues
- replace ``make_parser` (do not use StringIO)
- goal coverage > 95%
