freestyle_hid_console.py fails to talk to Libre 2 Reader

Has the syntax changed between L1 and L2?
What would happen if I upgraded a L1 reader to make it L2 compatible?
BTW, the udev rule needs to match 1a61:3950 (for the L2 reader)

FWIW Libre 2 uses an encrypted protocol and we don't have a full understanding of the encryption setup.
