Additional documentation should be provided to offer guidance on the following:

• how to push latest changes to production
• checking server logs
• uploading images / other assets
• rebuilding db after deploying to update schema
• seeding db

Dokku is built off of docker which uses containers that are switched out anytime there is a push to the app. The previous container is destroyed and only the code in the push persists after that. There is a built in plugin that deals with persistence between containers, but due to the nature of java being a pre-compiled language this makes it a little more difficult. The persistence plugin essentially will add a directory that would be accessible to all containers, however the directory is added to the project post compellation so the project will not recognize the directory. To get around this we will have to essentially use the java's file system to look for files in a specified directory. A reference project will also have to be made since this will also not be as easy as referencing a file our resources dir. let me know if anyone has questions.
